Steadfastness in doing something despite difficulty or delay.

God creates everyone and everything with a purpose. Your purpose is the very thing you were created to do. It is the very reason why you exist. Even the yellow jacket, an insect that many of us despise, has a purpose. Although they are pest to many of us, they are purposeful to gardeners and farmers  because they aid in the control of unwanted insects that cause damage to their crops and plants. Well what does purpose have to do with perseverance? Well I’m glad that you asked!!

When we are doing our best to be better, to change, to live for God; When we make that decision to publicize him, to say yes, to walk in our purpose; We need perseverance. Why? We need perseverance because the time you decide to put your faith to work. To put action to your vision here comes that stumbling block, that mountain. If you do not have the strength, determination and tenacity to keep going in spite of, you will lose your motivation. You will lose your drive and there goes your vision down the drain. We can not let one set back, one disappointment or moment of embarrassment make us quit, give up and throw in the towel. Galatians 6:9 tells us to not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Remember in James 1:12 God says blessed is the one who perseveres under trial. We have to activate our spirit of patience and continue to wait on God. While we are waiting, we have to keep fighting through prayer, keep reading our word and keep decreeing God’s promises over our lives. This thing can be hard at times but it is not impossible with God on our side. Remember only the strong survive!!!! Keep going!!!

Hi everyone. I'm Nekitta Sutton. I've experienced major disappointments, setbacks and losses in life. During those times I had to hold on to my faith and find strength to continue on. Through the trials and sufferings I realized that I was more than a conqueror, I was a survivor. I began to gain knowledge and grow as a person by activating my faith and reading God's word. My hopes are to encourage the masses so that you will be able to regain control over your life and start living again as well. It takes a lot of work and can sometimes be painful but I do know that it's possible and well worth it.
