Breaking Ungodly SoulTies

A soul tie is created when two souls link together usually by a sexual act. They can be positive or negative; however, if you realize that you have developed a negative soultie, it must be broken. God wants us to be tied to our spouses. That is the purpose of marriage. A man and a woman should become one flesh and cleave to each other. This creates unity and a strong bond between the two. It promotes a vibrant, healthy relationship. A man should love his wife like Christ loves the church. Proverbs 18:22 tells us that ” He who finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtain favor from the Lord.”

I decided to share this content with you because I feel that it is important for us to continue healing in every area of our lives. We must not leave anything out. We have to completely heal from anything that we feel is hindering us from getting closer to God or that is hindering us from having the marriage that we always dreamed of.

Before we can walk boldly in our restoration season, before we can activate our NOW faith and declare God’s favor over our lives and the lives of our family. There are still some things we need to heal from. We may still have an old wound that has not fully healed. But that’s ok! We’re going to heal it with the word of God and cover it with his holy blood. God already paid the price on the cross for our healing, for our freedom and for our deliverance. He told us in the Book of Isaiah to not be afraid nor be dismayed. Why? Because he is with us wherever we may go, with us in whatever we choose to do that’s beneficial to our calling. He promised that he would never leave us nor forsake us. So come on and let’s break that ungodly soultie and get out of bondage. We are king’s kids and our past does not define us. Our past is just that, the past. Those old relationships are over and gone. Any shame, embarrassment, resentment, hurt or heartbreak that came along with it is gone and it’s over. God is doing new thing. We have kingdom work to do and we can not waste any more time crying over spilled milk. Amen!

There are several reasons why it’s important to break ungodly soulties. One reason is so that your marriage can be restored. Breaking that negative soultie allows you to reconnect with your spouse again and this time will be better than before. It’s time to let go of anything that’s preventing your marriage from blooming. Another important reason you should want to break any negative soulties is so that you can be free mentally and emotionally. This allows you to fully embrace your calling and operate in your purpose.

Hi everyone. I'm Nekitta Sutton. I've experienced major disappointments, setbacks and losses in life. During those times I had to hold on to my faith and find strength to continue on. Through the trials and sufferings I realized that I was more than a conqueror, I was a survivor. I began to gain knowledge and grow as a person by activating my faith and reading God's word. My hopes are to encourage the masses so that you will be able to regain control over your life and start living again as well. It takes a lot of work and can sometimes be painful but I do know that it's possible and well worth it.
