Over there is a phrase that many of us use when we speak of leaving from one place to another. Over there is considered a place that is not far away from our current place. Over there can mean many things to many different people. Over there could be another city, another country or could simply be across the street; however, spiritually to me over there means something new, something exciting. It is a place that I’ve never been before, acquiring things that I’ve never had before and experiencing Christ in ways that I never seen before. Over there is where I’ll find my peace. Over there is where I’ll find my joy. Over there holds my promotion, my dream home, my overflow and my increase. Over there is where God has enlarged my territory and has established me in the earth. My future is over there. My hope is there. My restoration is right over there. My God! Over there sounds wonderful but there is just one question. How do I get from here to over there?
I’m glad that you asked! To get from where you are to over there, you have to be willing to shift with God. You have to trust with your whole heart and truly believe that he has your back. That he will lead and guide you and never forsake you. You have to believe that he is divinely ordering your steps. You have to release any fear. This is when we really have to practice having faith over fear. We have to also create an atmosphere in our lives that will set the stage and allow God to move. We have to remove any doubts and frustrations that’s hindering God from doing his thing. Please do not allow your flesh to war against the holy spirit. We have to surrender and submit and then we will see a mighty move of God. I read somewhere that “We need to cultivate the fruit of the spirit in our lives and reject the works of the flesh”. By doing this we are allowing our hearts and minds to shift with God and opening the doors to our fruitful season of harvest. We are opening the doors to our OVER THERE!!!!
Proverbs 16:3 tells us to, ” Commit your work to the Lord and your plans will be established.
2 Timothy 3:17 says, ” That the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work”.
Remember that God is with you as you begin to shift over there!!!
