Every day we have to remind ourselves of the promises that God has made to us. When we feel that no one cares and understands us, God told us in his word that he loves us. That he understand what we are feeling and see what we are trying to do. He acknowledges our efforts.
When we feel hopeless and discouraged. God’s word tells us to remain prayerful and steadfast. To stay encouraged, full of hope and joy. To not be weary in well doing. To be of good courage. His word advises us that blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and whose hope is in him.
There are times when we are afraid and need God’s protection. He promised us that with him we have a hiding place. That he is our strong tower, our shield, our bridge over troubled water. His word reminds us that he is faithful. That with him we are able to find strength and protection from all wickedness.
Some of us are facing financial dilemmas but again we have to remind ourselves of the promises that God has made to us. He said he was Jehovah Jiroh. He promises to supply all of our needs according to his riches and glory. He instructs us to not be anxious for anything. He proclaims that we are the lenders and not the borrowers, the head and not the tail, above and not beneath. That he is our shepard and we shall not want. That he is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can think or imagine.
These are the promises that I remind myself of daily. I meditate on them and declare them in my atmosphere on a regular basis. I am firm believer that whatever you speak out of your mouth will manifest in your life. So we must speak what we want to see happen for ourselves and our family. The power of life and death is in the tongue…..So remember to watch your words and when you can not find anything else to say just declare the word of the Lord!!!!!
Hi everyone. I'm Nekitta Sutton. I've experienced major disappointments, setbacks and losses in life. During those times I had to hold on to my faith and find strength to continue on. Through the trials and sufferings I realized that I was more than a conqueror, I was a survivor. I began to gain knowledge and grow as a person by activating my faith and reading God's word. My hopes are to encourage the masses so that you will be able to regain control over your life and start living again as well. It takes a lot of work and can sometimes be painful but I do know that it's possible and well worth it.
