Worrying is a synonym for anxiety. That’s right! They are relatives guys. They are closely related. Worrying is torture to our minds and our bodies. It mentally destroys us and it than begins to destroy us physically. It causes us to ponder on things that’s not even true and then we come up with our own make believe outcome. I’m learning that half of the outcomes that I imagine are not the outcomes that God even has planned. God is so good to us and he does not want to hurt us. He loves us and wants us to trust him with our whole heart. The more we worry, the more anxious we feel. Once our anxiety sets in, you can forget it because we stop everything. We stop believing in ourselves. We stop working on our goals, dreams and visions. We began to lose focus of the positive things that’s happening for us. Our fear begins to supersede our faith and our confidence is plundered. To plunder means to rob, steal or take with force. So basically our belief in God decreases. Our belief in ourselves definitely decreases and we become uncertain about our purpose. Most importantly we become uncertain about our faith.
We all know that having faith means having the complete trust or confidence in something or someone. So I challenge whoever is reading this post to start having more faith. To start believing that God is on your side and that he is working all things our for your good. Start believing that everything will be ok and that God has great plans for you and your family. That he has a bright future planned for your life. I challenge you to start letting go of worry and negative thoughts and think on those things that are holy and righteous. Things that are lovely and pure. I’m still learning to do this myself. I know it’s hard sometimes but if we want to truly start living our best lives, we have to let go of things that is hindering us and hurting us. Let’s make a choice ,starting now, to choose Faith Over Worry, Faith Over Fear and Faith Over Anxiety!
